Bar Non Hortence..Brown filly with highly athletic ability. Dam is Syringa Krystal Spring and Pierre Noire. Wonderful filly. She is her own boss, wants to be where you are and not afraid to step up and do things you ask her to do. No, I have no idea why we called her "Hortence." It was Harvey's idea! Started good under saddle and broke to drive too. |

2008 Foals..on 3/18/10
The foals are in the feed lot and nothing we can do about the mud and wooly hair! They will look better in a month or so! |

2008, foals, all tied up..some are sold.

These pictures were taken on Guffy Peak, east of Thermopolis. All of our foals are put on the mountain in the summer they are born. Gives them good legs and good lungs. They are able to handle thermselves better for being on the mountain. This is the "Tin Cup" Ranch, owned by Tad and Vendla Henthorn. If you come and see us, we might make a trip to the mountain.

Notice # 1: All of our horses have their feet handled regularly, load and are quiet and ready to go when you get them. We vaccinate with 5 way vaccine and West Nile. All horses are wormed 4 times a year. We supply coggins, registration papers and brand and health certificate upon sale. Often we are asked if our horses lead and are halter broke. This happens early in their life and is reinforced regularly. We like our horses gentle and quiet!
Notice # 2: Often we forget that one of the greatest and most important thing in any breeding program is nutrition. We are careful to make sure that our horses are fed regularly a balanced ration. Good quality alfalfa and grass along with minerals and good grain when needed. If a horse is not given a balanced nutritional diet they will not grow as they should and they are not prepared for the work that is ahead when they are sold as a "working" animal. Most of our horses are often put on the mountains around where we live for the summer months. The native grass of Wyoming is high in protein and wonderfully nutritious. |
Please call us: We will be glad to answer your questions and tell you what horses we have that might fit your need! Videos are available for all horses. Perhaps we won't have the horse you need, but we might know where one is!
